Just Try It! *
So you always wanted to try quilting! This 2 hour class will give you the opportunity without a large commitment of time or investment. You will touch on the basics of quilting, do a little bit of cutting and sew a pillow to take with you. If you enjoy it, you can join us for It’s Elementary! and continue on to learn more techniques. All you need is a sewing machine, a spool of thread, a few pins and a pair of scissors, we'll provide the rest.

It’s Elementary!*
We are excited about our new beginner quilt. This 6 week class will focus on the basic techniques of quilting, including rotary cutting, sewing an accurate quarter inch seam, strip piecing, making half square triangles, placing blocks on point, machine appliqué and more! You will piece a wall hanging (or table topper) that measures 42" x 42".

Join Nellie for this fun and informative class and learn hand appliqué*. Learn the popular freezer paper method. If you want accurate appliqué, this technique produces the best results. You will learn the skills to complete other appliqué projects.

Learn the basics of machine appliqué. You will be practicing on basic shapes, learning how to turn corners, deal with points and curves and understanding what your machine can do. Both freezer paper and fusible web will be introduced.

Learn this NEW method of paper piecing! If you avoid paper piecing because you don’t like the big job of removing the paper at the end, you will love this new method.
