This quilt was designed by Gloria! It’s fresh and really effective. The half square triangles are set in a barn raising setting with vertical sashing strips. Gloria’s sample is made up with batiks but it would be beautiful in printed fabrics as well.

 Day and Night**
This new book from Eleanor Burns has been a hit! Day and Night will mystify and enchant. The technique is awesome! The quilt is made from strips and then the illusion is created using the template included with the book. There are several variations of this quilt with sizes ranging from table runner to king. There are even projects included for using up the scraps that you cut away!

Underground Rail Road**
From the early 1820’s, those escaping slavery in the U.S. followed the North Star to find shelter behind Upper Canada’s humanitarian policies. St Catharines played a large part in the history of the Underground Rail Road and we are pleased to offer this course using Eleanor Burns’ Underground Rail Road Sampler book.
